Job Description
A forward-thinking secondary school in Enfield is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to provide tailored support to students with additional needs. This is a long-term role starting immediately and running through to July 2026.
Day-to-day responsibilities:
- Supporting students with special educational needs in lessons and around the school
- Delivering 1:1 and small group interventions to help pupils meet their learning goals
- Helping teachers adapt lessons and resources for accessibility
- Encouraging independence and building students' confidence
We're looking for someone who is:
- Patient, empathetic, and able to build strong relationships with young people
- Experienced in working with children (SEN experience is desirable but not essential)
- Keen to learn and open to training opportunities
