Secondary Teaching Assistant - Waltham Forest (Long-Term Role)
Pay: £95 - £105 per day
Start Date: ASAP - July 2026
We are working with a high-achieving secondary school in Waltham Forest who are seeking a reliable Teaching Assistant to join their support team. This is a full-time role starting immediately and running until July 2026.
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting students in lessons, particularly in core subjects
- Providing targeted intervention for pupils who need extra help
- Working closely with teachers to deliver engaging and accessible lessons
- Supervising and supporting students during non-classroom activities such as break and lunch times
The ideal candidate will:
- Have a genuine interest in education and supporting young people
- Be confident working with students from diverse backgrounds
- Bring experience from tutoring, youth work, or similar roles (desirable, but not essential)
- Be committed to the full academic year, offering consistency to the school and students
