SEN Teaching Assistant - Secondary School (Newham)

We are seeking a patient, dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our secondary school in Newham. This is a fantastic opportunity to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and make a meaningful difference to their learning and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing one-to-one and small group support for students with SEN.

  • Assisting teachers in creating inclusive and engaging lessons.

  • Supporting students' emotional, social and educational needs.

  • Helping to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and learning strategies.

  • Encouraging independence, confidence and resilience in students.

What we're looking for:

  • Experience working with young people, ideally with SEN (desirable but not essential).

  • Patience, empathy and strong communication skills.
