SEN Teaching Assistant - Secondary School (Newham)
We are seeking a patient, dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our secondary school in Newham. This is a fantastic opportunity to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and make a meaningful difference to their learning and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing one-to-one and small group support for students with SEN.
Assisting teachers in creating inclusive and engaging lessons.
Supporting students' emotional, social and educational needs.
Helping to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and learning strategies.
Encouraging independence, confidence and resilience in students.
What we're looking for:
Experience working with young people, ideally with SEN (desirable but not essential).
Patience, empathy and strong communication skills.
