SEN Teaching Assistant - Secondary School (Barking & Dagenham)
We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join our secondary school in Barking & Dagenham. This is an exciting opportunity to support students with Special Educational Needs and help them achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing one-to-one and small group support for students with SEN.
Assisting teachers in creating inclusive, engaging, and accessible lessons.
Supporting students' emotional, social, and academic development.
Implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and personalised learning strategies.
Encouraging independence, confidence, and resilience in students.
What we're looking for:
Experience working with children or young people, ideally with SEN (desirable but not essential).
Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.
