Teaching Assistant - Wellingborough

Location: Wellingborough, Northamptonshire
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time (Flexible options available)
Start Date: Immediate or negotiable
Pay: £90-110 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)

Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking enthusiastic, reliable, and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our team and support schools across Wellingborough and the surrounding areas.

About the Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you'll work closely with teachers to support pupils with their learning, both in and out of the classroom. Responsibilities may include:

Assisting with lesson preparation and classroom management
Supporting individual or small groups of students
Providing one-to-one support for pupils with additional needs
Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement in learning
Helping pupils develop academically, socially, and emotionally

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience in a range of educational settings - from mainstream primaries to SEND provisions - with potential for long-term placements.

We're Looking For:

Previous experience working with children or young people (desirable but not essential)
A positive, proactive, and patient attitude
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Flexibility and willingness to adapt to different classroom environments
An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply through Tradewind)
Right to work in the UK
