Tradewind Recruitment is excited to be working with a Primary School in Oldham seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant to support students in their SEN unit.

📚 About the Role
As a Learning Support Assistant / Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support the social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs of students.
Manage challenging behaviour with patience, consistency, and empathy.
Assist learning across the class in 1:1, small group, and whole-class settings.
Monitor and support students with SEMH difficulties and other special educational needs.
Encourage positive behaviour and help pupils thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant.
Belief in a holistic approach to children's learning and development.
Calm, empathetic, and able to set clear boundaries.
Trustworthy, reliable, and dedicated.
