Primary Teacher - Year 1
Location: Peterborough, Cambridgeshire
Contract: Full-Time - Maternity Cover
Start Date: January 2026
Salary: M1 - M4 (Paid to scale from day one)
Tradewind are currently working with a lovely 2 form entry primary school in Peterborough who are looking for a Primary Teacher to join them full time in January 2026 for a Maternity Cover contract.

What the Role Involves:
- Delivering engaging and inclusive lessons for a Year 1 class
- Supporting pupil progress through effective teaching and assessment
- Maintaining a positive and well-managed classroom
- Contributing to the wider school community
- Working as a team with your fellow Year 1 Teacher
What You'll Need:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Experience teaching in a UK primary school
- Good knowledge of the national curriculum
- A positive and proactive attitude
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills
