About the Role

We are delighted to be working with an outstanding girls school in Camden to recruit a Health & Social Care Teacher. This full-time, permanent position is available for an immediate start and offers the opportunity to teach Health & Social Care up to KS5, preparing students for careers in healthcare, social work, and related professions.

Responsibilities

  • Teach Health & Social Care across KS4, and KS5, making lessons engaging and career-focused
  • Support students in understanding medical ethics, social work principles, and patient care practices
  • Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Health & Social Care coursework and vocational assessments
  • Work collaboratively to enhance the curriculum with contemporary healthcare advancements
  • Contribute to extracurricular activities such as healthcare workshops and community projects

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree in Health & Social Care, Social Sciences, or a related subject
  • PGCE or QTS
  • Experience teaching Health & Social Care up to KS5
