KS4 SEN Teaching Assistant | Warrington | SEN Provision | Full-time, Long-term

A Special Needs School in Warrington are seeking a dedicated KS4 SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team and support a group of students with a range of SEN needs. Many of the students in this class display challenging behaviour, so the school are looking for someone confident with behaviour management who can provide a calm and consistent approach.

The successful KS4 SEN Teaching Assistant will work closely with classroom staff to support pupils both academically and socially, encouraging independence, managing behaviour effectively, and helping students prepare for qualifications and life beyond school.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience supporting children or young people with SEN (school-based or otherwise)

  • Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure

  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet a variety of student needs

  • Patience, resilience, and a positive, supportive approach

  • A commitment to providing a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment
