Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant
Location: Hillingdon, West London
Start Date: October 2025
Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term
Salary: £95 - £125 per day (PAYE, DOE)

Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Primary School in Hillingdon from October 2025. The school has an excellent reputation for inclusion and is seeking someone to provide additional support for pupils with Autism (ASD), ADHD, and a range of learning difficulties.

This role is ideal for someone proactive, patient, and enthusiastic, who can help children access learning and thrive in both the classroom and playground.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Delivering 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND

  • Assisting with tailored learning activities and behaviour strategies

  • Encouraging independence, communication, and confidence

  • Working closely with teachers and the SEN team to ensure pupil progress

What You'll Need:

  • Experience supporting children with SEND (school or youth settings)

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • A positive, nurturing approach

  • An Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
