Level 3 Teaching Assistant | Warrington | Full-time, Long-term

We are currently seeking an experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a thriving Primary School in Warrington on a full-time, long-term basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a confident and skilled practitioner who is ready to take on additional responsibilities within the classroom.

The successful Level 3 Teaching Assistant will be supporting pupils across the school, leading small-group intervention sessions to help raise attainment and provide targeted support. You will also be confident in covering the class during the teacher's absence, ensuring lessons continue smoothly and children remain engaged in their learning.

Key responsibilities:

Supporting teaching and learning across the school, both in-class and through targeted interventions
Leading small-group or 1:1 sessions in literacy, numeracy, and other curriculum areas
Taking responsibility for covering lessons in the absence of the class teacher
Assisting in planning and preparing resources to support differentiated learning
Promoting a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
Building positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents

What we are looking for:

Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
Proven experience working as a Teaching Assistant within a primary school setting
Experience delivering intervention programmes and supporting pupil progress
Confidence in managing a class when covering for the teacher
Excellent communication, behaviour management, and organisational skills
