General Cover Teacher (Primary) - West Cornwall

Location: West Cornwall (Penzance, Helston, Hayle, Camborne, Redruth, St Ives)
Contract: Flexible / Day-to-Day / Short-Term
Pay: £140 - £220 per day (DOE)

Tradewind Recruitment is looking for Primary General Cover Teachers to support schools across West Cornwall. This role is ideal for teachers who enjoy variety and want the flexibility of day-to-day or short-term supply work, while still making a real impact in local schools.

The role will involve:

• Delivering engaging lessons across KS1 and KS2 using pre-prepared plans

• Managing the classroom effectively and promoting positive behaviour

• Adapting quickly to different schools and classrooms across West Cornwall

• Providing stability and consistency for pupils when their usual teacher is absent

We're looking for teachers who:

• Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent

• Have strong classroom leadership and behaviour management skills

• Are confident across both KS1 and KS2

• Are flexible, reliable, and committed to supporting Cornish schools
