Supply EYFS - KS1 Teaching Assistant

Location: Nottingham and surrounding areas
Job Type: Flexible / Day-to-Day / Short & Long-Term Placements
Pay: £90-£110 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)
Start Date: Ongoing / As Soon As Possible

Are you a passionate and adaptable Teaching Assistant with experience in EYFS or Key Stage 1?

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable Supply Teaching Assistants to work across Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Key Stage 1 classes in a variety of Nottingham primary schools.

This is a fantastic opportunity for those looking for flexible, rewarding work, whether you're available a few days a week or looking for full-time supply.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Support teaching and learning in EYFS or KS1 classrooms

  • Work 1:1 or in small groups to assist children with their learning and development

  • Assist with classroom activities, play-based learning, and phonics

  • Provide support for children with additional needs (SEN experience a plus)

  • Ensure a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience working in EYFS and/or KS1 (school or nursery settings)

  • Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) preferred

  • A nurturing, patient, and proactive approach

  • Good understanding of early childhood development and phonics

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
