SEN Maths / Science teacher

We are currently recruiting for a qualified teacher to join a specialist school in Ormskirk, supporting high-functioning pupils with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) for a 1 year Maternity cover. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in a supportive, well-resourced setting.
The successful candidate will be teaching Maths and Science to KS3 and KS4 students in small, focused groups, with an emphasis on building strong relationships and adapting lessons to meet individual needs.
Role Details:

• Position: Maths & Science Teacher
• Location: Specialist ASD School, Ormskirk
• Key Stages: KS3 and KS4
• Start Date: after half term
• Contract Type: Maternity Cover
• Requirements: QTS (or equivalent), experience working with ASD preferred, strong subject knowledge in Maths and Science essential
