Are you a compassionate and experienced Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in children's lives?

SANZA Teaching Agency are recruiting on behalf of a large, inclusive 4- form entry primary school in Newham (Plaistow) who are seeking a teaching assistant to support pupils with Autism and additional learning needs.

As a teaching assistant, you will:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with Autism to help pupils access learning and develop social and communication skills.
• Work closely with class teachers and the school SENCO to implement EHCP's (Educational Health Care Plans).
• Assist with emotional well-being and welfare
• Contribute to the overall school community by being a positive role-model

About you:

• Will have proven experience supporting children with Autism
• Will be patient, empathetic and flexible
• Have a solid understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality
• Have previous school- based experience
