Learning Support Assistant - Full-Time, Long-Term - Greenwich Secondary School
Start Date: Immediate | Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term | Pay: Competitive (via PAYE)
Tradewind Recruitment is working with a welcoming mainstream secondary school in Greenwich who are seeking a dedicated and proactive Learning Support Assistant to join their team immediately. This is a full-time, long-term role, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact supporting students-particularly those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with additional learning needs
Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and differentiated strategies
Support teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
Help promote student confidence, independence, and social development
Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral staff to track progress
Requirements:
Previous experience working with children or young people (in schools or similar settings)
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
Experience supporting students with SEND (essential or strongly preferred)
Excellent communication, patience, and a positive, adaptable attitude
