About the Role

As the School Operations Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in the effective day-to-day running of the school. Working closely with the Headteacher and senior leadership team, you will take responsibility for:

  • Premises management - overseeing maintenance, site safety, and contractors

  • Health & Safety - ensuring compliance with legislation and best practice

  • Administration & Compliance - streamlining processes and maintaining accurate records

  • HR & Recruitment - supporting staff recruitment, onboarding, and wellbeing initiatives

  • Finance support - working with the leadership team to ensure efficient resource allocation

Your role will help ensure that the school remains a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, and visitors alike.

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced in operations, HR, or school administration (education setting desirable)

  • A confident communicator and problem-solver

  • Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail

  • Skilled at leading teams and building positive relationships across the school community

  • Passionate about supporting staff wellbeing and creating a positive workplace culture
