Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm

Tradewind Recruitment is looking for a skilled and organised Science Technician to join a school in Slough. In this role, you will be key to helping pupils and teachers achieve their best by preparing equipment, maintaining resources, and ensuring science lessons run safely and smoothly.
What You'll Do:
Prepare and set up laboratory equipment and materials for lessons
Maintain and organise science apparatus, chemicals, and teaching resources
Ensure all health and safety standards are met in the laboratory
Assist teachers during practical lessons as needed
Monitor stock levels and order supplies when required
Carry out routine maintenance and cleaning of laboratory equipment
Skills and Experience Required:
Experience in a school, laboratory, or science-related environment preferred
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Knowledge of basic health and safety procedures in a science lab
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Reliable, flexible, and with excellent communication skills
