🏫 Cover Supervisor - South Liverpool

Location: South Liverpool Secondary Schools
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-time, Long-term
Salary: £95 - £115 per day (depending on experience)

Tradewind Recruitment are looking for a confident, enthusiastic, and reliable Cover Supervisor to join a welcoming secondary school in South Liverpool. This is an exciting opportunity for graduates or experienced school staff who enjoy working with young people and supporting learning across a range of subjects.

The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you'll play a vital role in maintaining a positive learning environment during teacher absences. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering pre-prepared lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

  • Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring students stay on task.

  • Supporting pupils to complete work to the best of their ability.

  • Assisting teaching staff with administrative or pastoral duties when required.

This role is perfect for individuals considering a career in teaching, or for those with experience in youth work, coaching, or tutoring who are seeking a rewarding school-based position.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification

  • An enhanced Child Only DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).

  • Child Experience E.g. youth work, coaching, tutoring

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.

  • A positive attitude and the ability to build relationships with students.

  • Flexibility and enthusiasm for working across a variety of subjects.
