SEMH Teacher - Key Stage 2
Location: Warrington
Start Date: 3rd November 2025
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent

Tradewind Education are recruiting on behalf of a dedicated specialist provision in Warrington that supports pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The school are seeking an experienced and passionate SEMH Teacher to teach pupils in Key Stage 2, delivering a broad and balanced curriculum tailored to meet individual needs.

This is a rewarding opportunity for a teacher who is motivated to make a real difference to the lives of young people who require additional social and emotional support.

The role will involve:

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons across a broad and balanced KS2 curriculum

  • Implementing effective strategies to support pupils' emotional well-being and personal development

  • Managing behaviour positively and proactively, fostering a safe and inclusive classroom environment

  • Working collaboratively with teaching assistants, pastoral staff, and external agencies to meet each pupil's needs

  • Supporting the school's vision of nurturing confidence, resilience, and independence in all learners

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential

  • Proven experience teaching pupils with SEMH needs - essential

  • Team Teach training - desirable

  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

  • A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to teaching

  • Commitment to supporting pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
