Science Teacher - Immediate Start Available in High Wycombe-based Secondary School!
Location: High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire
Start Date: Flexible, either November 2025 or January 2026
Role Type: Long-Term (with permanent opportunities available)
Salary: MPS - UPS (dependent on experience)
Tradewind are supporting a Secondary School in High Wycombe, who are seeking two enthusiastic Science Teachers to join their team, with roles starting as soon as November 2025, or flexibly for January 2026.
The School is looking for Biology, Chemistry, or Physics specialists able to teach General Science to KS3 and KS4.
Key Responsibilities - Science Teacher
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Science lessons across KS3-KS4
- Mark work, assess progress, and provide constructive feedback
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement
- Contribute to departmental planning and school-wide initiatives
- Ensure a safe, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - desirable - experienced Instructors and ECTs still encouraged to apply
- Strong subject knowledge (General, Biology, Chemistry or Physics)
- Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 Science
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Enhanced DBS Check (with subscription to update service - or willing to apply)
- A full employment and education history (with 2 suitable references)
