English Teacher - Wigan - Long-Term Role After October Half-Term
Location: Wigan
Pay: Up to £232.56 per day
Start Date: After October Half-Term | Until Christmas (with potential to extend)
Subject: English | Key Stages: KS3 & KS4
Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join a welcoming and high-achieving secondary school in the Wigan area. This is a fantastic long-term supply teaching opportunity starting after October half-term and continuing until at least Christmas, with the potential to extend into the new year.
The Role
The successful candidate will teach English across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students to develop their reading, writing, and analytical skills. You'll deliver engaging lessons that foster creativity, critical thinking, and a love of literature.

The Ideal English Teacher Will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Have recent experience teaching English in a UK secondary school
- Demonstrate strong classroom management and differentiation skills
- Be committed to maintaining high academic standards and positive relationships with pupils
