Level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistant
Primary School - Oldham

Our client school is a warm, welcoming, and inclusive primary school dedicated to providing a high-quality education for every child. With a strong focus on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), they aim to nurture curiosity, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.

They are now seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their vibrant EYFS team and help every child reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for children within the EYFS.

  • Assist in delivering engaging, play-based learning activities.

  • Support children's social and emotional development, fostering confidence and positive relationships.

  • Help prepare and maintain the learning environment and classroom resources.

  • Observe and record children's progress, providing feedback to the class teacher.

  • Work collaboratively with the EYFS team to implement individual learning plans.

  • Promote the development of speech, language, and communication skills.

  • Support with lunchtime supervision and outdoor play.

The Successful Candidate Will Have

  • A Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (or equivalent).

  • Previous experience working with children in an Early Years setting.

  • A strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team and use initiative when needed.

  • A nurturing, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with young children.

  • A firm commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils.
