Graduate Teaching Assistant - Secondary School - Westminster
Location: Westminster, Central London
Job Type: Full-time, Term-time only
Pay: £90-£105 per day (depending on experience)

A supportive and forward-thinking secondary school in Westminster is looking for a motivated Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a brilliant opportunity for graduates interested in education, youth work, or psychology to gain hands-on classroom experience and develop skills for teacher training or similar pathways.

Working across different departments, you'll help students access the curriculum, stay focused, and build confidence in their learning.

Your role will involve:
* Supporting students in lessons, both 1:1 and in small groups
* Assisting teachers with classroom management and resource preparation
* Helping deliver intervention sessions in English, Maths, or other core subjects
* Encouraging student engagement, motivation, and positive behaviour
* Observing and learning from a variety of teaching styles

What we're looking for:

* A recent graduate (any subject) with a strong interest in education
* Confident, patient, and approachable with young people
* Good communication skills and a positive attitude
* Experience with young people (formal or informal) is desirable but not essential
* Eagerness to learn and participate fully in school life
