Graduate Teaching Assistant - Secondary School
Location: Hounslow, West London
Job Type: Full-time, Term-time only
Pay: £90-£110 per day (dependent on experience)

About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you'll support teachers and students across a range of subjects, helping learners reach their full potential. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing 1:1 and small group support during lessons

  • Assisting with lesson preparation, classroom management, and learning resources

  • Supporting targeted intervention sessions in core subjects such as English and Maths

  • Encouraging student motivation, engagement, and positive behaviour

  • Observing teaching styles and gaining insight into day-to-day school life

About You

We're looking for graduates who are:

  • Recent graduates (any subject) with a genuine interest in education

  • Confident, patient, and approachable when working with young people

  • Strong communicators with good organisational skills

  • Experienced in supporting children or young people (formal or informal experience is a plus, but not essential)

  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and keen to get involved in all aspects of school life
