Exciting new opportunity for a Geography Teacher to start in January!
A forward-thinking and successful secondary school in Ealing is recruiting a Geography Teacher for a January 2026 start. This is a long-term, full-time role, though the school would consider part-time hours for the right candidate. Working hours are 8:30am-3:30pm, and the post will run until July 2026 (with possible extension). Pay will follow the Inner London MPS/UPS scale.

Role Overview

  • Teach engaging, well-structured Geography lessons from KS3 to KS5

  • Inspire students to think critically and apply geographical knowledge

  • Assess and monitor progress, offering feedback to aid achievement

  • Contribute to the Geography department's enrichment activities

  • Uphold school values of inclusion, respect, and academic excellence

Person Specification

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Degree in Geography or related field

  • Demonstrated passion for Geography and education

  • Strong communication and organisational skills

  • A team-oriented and reflective teaching approach
