Spanish Teaching Assistant - Secondary School, Slough
Start Date: January 2026 | Contract: Full-time until July 2026

We are seeking a Spanish Teaching Assistant to support Spanish lessons at a secondary school, starting in January 2026. This is a full-time position continuing until the end of the academic year in July 2026. Applicants must be native Spanish speakers.

The successful candidate will provide classroom support to students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (Years 7-10) during Spanish lessons. The school is committed to continuous improvement, with passionate teachers dedicated to helping students reach their full potential. The focus is on creating a creative, engaging, and inspiring learning environment.

We are looking for a dedicated Spanish Teaching Assistant who is fluent in spoken, written, and reading Spanish, enthusiastic about making a positive impact on students, and able to follow guidance from the Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO). A genuine passion for working with students and an aspiration to pursue a career in teaching are advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and supervise students in the classroom

  • Complete tasks assigned by teachers and the line manager

  • Work with students who have special educational needs

  • Demonstrate flexibility in carrying out Teaching Assistant duties

  • Maintain punctuality and reliability
