Job Title: School Science Technician - Secondary Schools (Full-Time, Bromley)
Location: Various Secondary Schools across Bromley
Contract: Full-Time, 5 Days per Week
Are you passionate about science and eager to play a key role in inspiring the next generation of young scientists? We're looking for a dedicated Science Technician to join a network of inclusive and forward-thinking secondary schools across Bromley.
In this rewarding role, you'll support the delivery of engaging and hands-on science lessons by preparing experiments, maintaining laboratory equipment, and ensuring a safe and efficient learning environment for students and staff alike.
What You'll Do
Prepare and set up practical experiments across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
Maintain and organise equipment, chemicals, and materials safely
Support teachers and students during lessons and demonstrations
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
Assist in the day-to-day running of the science department
About You
A genuine enthusiasm for science and education
Excellent organisational and communication skills
A proactive and reliable approach to work
Previous lab experience or a background in science (desirable but not essential)
