Physics Teacher - January Start - Isleworth, London
A successful and inclusive secondary school based in Isleworth is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Physics Teacher to join their thriving science department from January on a long-term contract. This is a full-time position, though part-time applications will be considered for the right candidate. Working hours are 8:30am to 3:30pm, with pay in line with Outer London MPS/UPS pay scales. Role Responsibilities - Physics Teacher
* Deliver engaging and challenging Physics lessons across KS3 to KS5, sparking curiosity and enthusiasm for the subject.
* Plan, prepare, and assess high-quality lessons that promote scientific thinking and practical understanding.
* Support students in developing analytical and problem-solving skills through hands-on experiments and real-world applications.
* Work collaboratively within the science department to develop innovative resources and share best practices.
* Create an inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation, confidence, and academic progress.
* Contribute to the wider life of the school, promoting its values of respect, ambition, and excellence.
Qualifications and Person Specification:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* A relevant degree in Physics or a related discipline
* Excellent subject knowledge with the ability to engage and inspire students
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
