We are currently working with several secondary schools across Northampton who are looking to appoint enthusiastic and dedicated RE Teachers. Roles are available to start immediately or from January 2026, with both long-term supply and permanent contracts on offer.
What You'll Be Doing:
Teaching RE across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 available in some schools
Delivering engaging and thought-provoking lessons on beliefs, philosophy, ethics, and worldviews
Encouraging students to think critically, debate respectfully, and appreciate diverse perspectives
Supporting pupils of all abilities through inclusive teaching and constructive feedback
Collaborating with the RE or Humanities department to develop curriculum and enrichment activities
What We're Looking For:
A qualified RE teacher with QTS/QTLS or equivalent
Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for RE
Excellent classroom management and the ability to foster a positive, respectful learning environment
A reflective and inclusive approach that recognises the value of every student
