SEN Teaching Assistant - Full-Time Role Starting January 2026 in Westminster

A high-achieving and inclusive secondary school in Westminster is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from January 2026 through to July 2026.

About the Role:

As an SEN TA, you will play a key role in helping students with additional learning needs thrive by:
* Supporting students with SEND in and out of the classroom
* Providing targeted 1:1 and small-group interventions
* Assisting teachers with behaviour, engagement, and differentiation
* Helping build students' confidence, independence, and social skills
* Supporting literacy, numeracy, and general academic progress

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience working with children or young people
    * Understanding of SEN, including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, or SEMH
    * Calm, patient, and adaptable approach
    * Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for education

Requirements:

  • Degree-level qualification
    * Enhanced DBS Disclosure
    * Professional references covering the past 10 years (where possible)
    * Legal right to work in the UK
