Spanish Teaching Assistant - Full-Time Role (January 2026 Start)

A welcoming secondary school in Slough is looking to appoint a dedicated Spanish Teaching Assistant from January 2026. This full-time position will continue until July 2026, supporting the Modern Foreign Languages department across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

To be considered, you must be a native Spanish speaker or possess complete fluency in written and spoken Spanish.

In this role, you will work alongside class teachers to support students during Spanish lessons, helping to maintain a positive, focused learning atmosphere. The school is known for strong leadership, excellent behaviour, and high academic achievement.

What We're Looking For

• Native Spanish speaker or fully fluent Spanish user

• Enthusiasm for supporting secondary learners

• Ability to follow guidance from class teachers and the SENCo

• Interest in teaching or education pathways (beneficial but not essential)

Key Duties

• Supporting students during Spanish lessons and classroom activities

• Assisting teachers with set tasks and learning materials

• Providing support to students with SEND

• Remaining flexible, reliable, and proactive throughout the school day
