Our partner secondary schools in Corby are looking to welcome caring, committed, and proactive Learning Support Assistants to their teams. These roles are available immediately or from January 2026, offering a fantastic opportunity to support students with a wide range of special educational needs (SEN) in a warm and inclusive environment.

Your Role Will Include

  • Supporting students on a 1:1 basis or within small groups to help them access learning

  • Assisting teachers with differentiated work, classroom routines, and resource preparation

  • Working with pupils who may have autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, or social/emotional needs

  • Encouraging independence, confidence, and engagement in lessons

  • Promoting positive behaviour and helping students develop emotional resilience

  • Contributing to a classroom environment where every student feels supported and included

The Ideal Candidate Will Be

  • Passionate about supporting young people, especially those with additional needs

  • Calm, patient, and consistent in their approach

  • Able to build positive, trusting relationships with students and staff

  • Adaptable, reliable, and ready to step into a busy school environment

  • Experienced in education, care, youth work, or SEN (desirable but not essential)

  • Willing to develop their skills and grow professionally
