This is an ideal opportunity for recent graduates who are passionate about education and looking to train as qualified teachers while gaining invaluable classroom experience.

Location: Corby
Start Date: ASAP or September start available
Contract Type: Full-time, long-term, with a direct pathway into teacher training

About the Programme

This structured training programme is designed to help graduates develop the skills, confidence, and experience needed to become successful teachers. You will begin by supporting lessons, working with small groups, and gradually taking on more responsibility as you progress. Throughout the programme, you will receive high-quality mentoring and professional development, leading to the opportunity to begin a formal teacher training route within the school.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of lessons across a range of subjects

  • Work with small groups and individual students to accelerate progress

  • Assist with planning, resources, and classroom organisation

  • Develop your teaching skills under the guidance of experienced educators

  • Contribute to the wider school environment, including pastoral support

What We're Looking For

  • A degree in any subject discipline

  • A genuine ambition to become a qualified teacher

  • Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills

  • A proactive, positive, and resilient approach

  • Any experience with young people is beneficial but not essential
