After School Club Assistant - Stockport
Hours: Monday to Friday, 3:00pm - 6:00pm
Contract: Long-term with the potential to transition onto a school contract

Tradewind Recruitment are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic After School Club Assistant to join a warm and welcoming Primary School in the Stockport area. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about supporting children in a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment at the end of the school day.

The school offers a positive working atmosphere, supported by an excellent Senior Leadership Team who value their staff and provide ongoing support. You will be working as part of a friendly team to deliver fun, structured activities and ensure pupils are well cared for during after-school hours.

The role involves:

• Supervising children aged 4-11 in a safe and supportive environment

• Leading and assisting with a range of activities, games, and creative tasks

• Helping to prepare snacks and maintain a clean, organised club space

• Building positive relationships with pupils and staff

• Ensuring school policies and safeguarding procedures are followed

This role would suit someone who:

• Has experience working with children in a school or childcare setting

• Is energetic, reliable, and enjoys working as part of a team

• Can commit to regular weekday afternoons (3pm-6pm)

• Is looking for a long-term role with the possibility of joining the school permanently
