Are you a final year university student or graduate looking for meaningful, flexible, and rewarding work with young people in Swindon?
This is the perfect opportunity to gain paid experience supporting students with lessons in secondary schools in the Swindon area!
We are currently recruiting for temporary, short-term, and long-term positions, both immediately and from January 2026.
💼 The Roles:
You'll be working in local secondary schools as a Teaching Assistant or Cover Supervisor, supporting young people aged 11-16 in the classroom. You'll help pupils with their learning, emotional wellbeing, and confidence - making a genuine difference every day. This is a great way to discover if you may want to train to be a teacher - and you get paid while you work that out!
🕒 The Hours:
School hours are 8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday. You can choose to work 2-5 days per week - completely flexible to fit around your studies or other commitments.
💰 The Pay:
Daily rates range from £90 to £110 per day (PAYE) for 6.5 hours' work.
🎓 No School Experience? No Problem!
We offer a free, in-person 3-hour training course to introduce you to classroom life and prepare you for your first day. You'll also get access to over 2,500 CPD courses, webinars, and resources through the National College - completely free!

✨ Requirements:
* Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable, but not essential - a passion to help others is a must!
