Health & Social Care Teacher (KS4 & KS5)
Location: Bolton
Contract: Maternity Cover (Supply)
Start Date: January 2026

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Health and Social Care Teacher to join our thriving mainstream secondary school and sixth form in Bolton. This is an exciting opportunity to teach motivated learners across Key Stages 4 and 5, delivering BTEC Level 2 and Level 3 Health and Social Care. There is also potential to teach GCSE Psychology and A Level Psychology for suitably qualified candidates.

About the Role:

  • Teach engaging and well-planned lessons to KS4 and KS5 students

  • Deliver BTEC Level 2 and Level 3 Health & Social Care qualifications

  • Potential to contribute to GCSE and A Level Psychology

  • Work within a supportive and forward-thinking department

  • Provide high-quality teaching, assessment and feedback

  • Contribute to the positive ethos and wider life of the school

What We're Looking For:

  • A qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS) or an experienced FE practitioner with relevant expertise

  • Strong subject knowledge in Health and Social Care; Psychology experience desirable

  • A passion for inspiring young people and supporting their progression

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

  • Someone adaptable, committed, and confident working in a supply capacity
