A welcoming and forward-thinking primary school in Barnet is looking to appoint a part-time PPA Teacher from January 2026. This is a well-regarded, one-form entry school with a strong community feel and a commitment to high-quality teaching and learning.

As the PPA Teacher, you will teach across KS1 and KS2, providing high-quality cover during teachers' planning, preparation and assessment time. Planning requirements are minimal, but you will be expected to deliver engaging and well-structured lessons that support the school's curriculum aims.

About the Role

• Teach across KS1 and KS2 to cover PPA sessions

• Deliver well-prepared and engaging lessons

• Use effective behaviour management strategies

• Work closely with classroom support staff

• Adapt materials to meet the needs of different learners

• Attend relevant meetings on your working days

Requirements

• UK-recognised QTS

• Good knowledge of the primary curriculum (KS1 & KS2)

• A positive, adaptable and committed approach

• Confidence teaching across a range of year groups

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Available part-time from January 2026
