School Caretaker | Secondary School | Northwood (Hillingdon) | ASAP Start

About the Role
As a School Caretaker, you will:

  • Open and close school buildings safely (shift patterns may vary)

  • Carry out general maintenance, minor repairs, and basic DIY tasks

  • Ensure the school site is clean, safe, and well-presented

  • Manage deliveries and maintain stock of cleaning and maintenance supplies

  • Support cleaning teams and other school staff as needed

  • Assist with setting up rooms for events, assemblies, and exams

  • Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed

  • Respond promptly to urgent maintenance issues across the school site

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in caretaking, site management, maintenance, or facilities

  • Strong practical skills and confidence with basic repairs

  • A proactive, reliable, and hands-on approach

  • Good communication skills and ability to work independently

  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
