History Teacher
A prestigious independent secondary school in Northwood is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable History Teacher to join their Humanities Department. This role is a maternity cover, starting September 2026 and continuing for two terms until April 2027. The position is full time, and the school welcomes applications from teachers with a passion for inspiring young historians. Working hours are 8:30am to 3:30pm, and the school offers on-site parking for staff. Salary will be paid in line with the London MPS/UPS scale.

* Deliver engaging and enriching History lessons across Key Stages 3-5, ensuring students develop strong historical understanding, analytical skills, and a love for the subject.
* Support students' academic growth by guiding them through historical enquiry, critical evaluation, and independent research.
