Science Teacher - Ealing, Inner London

A large secondary school in the Ealing area is seeking a Science Teacher to join their team for a one-term contract starting in January. This is a full-time position with working hours from 8:30am to 3:30pm, and salary will be paid in line with Inner London MPS/UPS. The school welcomes applications from teachers specialising in any science discipline-Biology, Chemistry, or Physics. The site is well connected to public transport and offers staff parking.

* Deliver high-quality and engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4, ensuring students develop strong scientific understanding and curiosity.
* Use practical experiments, demonstrations, and interactive learning strategies to bring scientific concepts to life.
* Support students' academic progress by providing clear feedback, structured guidance, and a positive learning environment.
* Maintain excellent classroom management, fostering a safe, inclusive, and productive atmosphere for all learners.
* Collaborate with the wider Science department, contributing to curriculum planning and whole-school initiatives.

Qualifications and Person Specification:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* A relevant degree in a Science discipline
* Strong subject knowledge with the ability to inspire and motivate students
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Positive, supportive, and committed to student achievement
