Teaching Assistant - Brent

Full-Time | Term-Time Only | January or ASAP Start
Salary: £85-£110 per day (depending on experience)

A friendly, inclusive and forward-thinking school in Brent is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team from January or as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children's learning and development.

About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2, depending on your experience and preference.

  • Provide 1:1 and small-group support to help pupils make progress academically and emotionally.

  • Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation, behaviour management and classroom organisation.

  • Help to create a positive, safe and engaging learning environment.

  • Support pupils with additional or SEND needs, promoting inclusion and confidence.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience working with children (school-based, tutoring or volunteering experience welcome).

  • A patient, enthusiastic and proactive approach.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

  • A genuine passion for education and helping young learners thrive.

  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
