Maths Teacher (KS3 & KS4)
Cheshire West & Chester
January Start - Long-Term Position (Until at Least Easter)
Pay: Up to £223.56 per day (DOE)

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join one of our welcoming and forward-thinking secondary schools in Cheshire West & Chester. This long-term supply role begins in January and will run until at least Easter, with the potential for extension.

The Role - KS3 & KS4 Maths Teacher

We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 Maths Teacher who can deliver engaging, well-structured lessons across the curriculum. You will be responsible for:

  • Planning and teaching Maths lessons to mixed-ability groups in KS3 and KS4

  • Supporting pupils in developing strong numeracy, problem-solving, and reasoning skills

  • Using assessment effectively to ensure excellent progress and adapt teaching accordingly

  • Contributing to a positive, aspirational learning environment

  • Collaborating with a supportive Maths department committed to raising attainment

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification

  • Strong subject knowledge in Maths

  • Experience teaching KS3 and KS4

  • A passion for helping students progress and succeed

  • Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
