GCSE Tutor - Across Leicester and Leicestershire

Pay: £20 - £40 per hour (dependent on qualifications and experience)

Tradewind Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-regarded Secondary School in Leicester as they seek an experienced and enthusiastic GCSE Tutor to join their team as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated education professional to make a real impact on pupils' progress and confidence across core subjects.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will deliver high-quality, targeted GCSE tuition to small groups and individual pupils who require additional support in the run-up to their examinations. You will work closely with department staff to identify learning gaps, plan personalised sessions, and provide ongoing feedback to help pupils achieve their academic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging, structured GCSE tuition across core subjects (English, Maths, or Science specialisms are highly desirable).
Assess students' needs and tailor sessions to support their progress.
Track and monitor student outcomes, providing constructive feedback.
Liaise with teaching staff to ensure alignment with curriculum expectations.
Create a positive, supportive learning environment that promotes confidence and resilience.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, applicants must have previous experience working within a school or educational setting. Candidates without school-based experience cannot be considered.
You should also have:
Strong subject knowledge at GCSE level - particularly across Core Subjects.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
A patient, motivating, and student-centred approach.
