Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a confident, resilient, and passionate Unqualified Teacher specialising in Behaviour Management to work within supportive school settings across the Kettering area.

This role is ideal for individuals with strong behaviour management experience-whether from education, youth work, mentoring, sports coaching, residential care, or similar backgrounds-who are looking to make a real impact in the classroom.

About the Role

As an Unqualified Teacher, you will deliver pre-prepared lessons, supervise classes, and create a calm, structured environment for students who require consistent behaviour support. You will be supported by senior leaders, pastoral teams, and your dedicated consultant at Tradewind.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver and supervise pre-planned lessons across various subjects.

  • Use effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive learning environment.

  • Build strong relationships with pupils, encouraging engagement and positive choices.

  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff and support teams.

  • Uphold safeguarding and wellbeing standards at all times.

About You

  • Experience supporting young people with challenging behaviour.

  • Calm, confident, and able to remain resilient under pressure.

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

  • Adaptable, proactive, and eager to develop within an education setting.

  • A genuine interest in progressing towards a teaching or pastoral career.
