The Role: Drive Science Excellence (KS4 & Potential KS5)

The school is renowned for supporting teacher development and is looking for a collaborative professional who will:

  • Curriculum Delivery: Confidently deliver General Science lessons (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) up to Key Stage 4 (GCSE) level.
  • A-Level Teaching (Preferred): Ideally, you will have experience or willingness to teach Science at Key Stage 5 (A-Level).
  • Ethos and Commitment: Demonstrate a strong commitment to the school's high expectations.
  • Innovation & Collaboration: Support the department through innovative approaches, including involvement in curriculum design and use of ICT.
  • Future Leadership: This position is ideal for a Science Teacher who potentially seeks to take on leadership responsibility in the future.

Essential Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
