Salary/Rate: £102.83 - £103.83 Per Day (PAYE)

Location: Secondary Schools across Preston/Leyland

Contract Type: Flexible Supply (Daily) and Fixed-Term Long-Term Placements

Start Date: Immediate starts available

The Role: What You Will Be Doing

As a Secondary Classroom Supervisor, your primary focus will be classroom management and ensuring a safe, focused learning environment. You will be responsible for:

  • Supervising students in the absence of the class teacher.

  • Delivering pre-prepared work (no planning required for daily supply).

  • Managing student behaviour effectively, adhering to school policies.

  • Collecting completed work and ensuring the classroom is tidy.

  • Establishing positive working relationships with students and staff across the Preston area.

What We Look for in a Candidate

To excel in this Classroom Supervisor role, you must demonstrate:

  • Proven experience working with young people (aged 11-16) or in a coaching/educational setting.

  • Excellent behaviour management and communication skills.

  • Strong organisational skills and reliability for daily bookings.

  • A professional and flexible approach to working in different schools across Preston.

  • A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
