Teaching Assistant

Early Years (Reception)

Havering

SANZA Teaching Agency are supporting a large, modern, innovative primary school in Havering. They are seeking a proactive, engaging teaching assistant to join their team from January 2026. The role will be as a teaching assistant within reception.

The school is located in Hornchurch. It has on-site parking and is close to Romford (Elizabeth Line).

The role is full-time (term-time only) from January to July 2026.

About you:

Ideally hold the early years practitioner/early years professional qualification
Will have experience within the early years, ideally within a primary school setting
A solid understanding of childhood development in the early years, and of the early years curriculum
Willingness to support children with additional needs on a 1:1 basis
Ability to be adaptable, flexible and work well in a large team

Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting children with special educational needs
