Salary: £90 - £125 per day (PAYE, dependent on experience)

SEND Teaching Assistant - Specialist Resource Provision (SRP)

Tradewind Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting dedicated and enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistants to join a well-resourced Specialist Resource Provision (SRP) within a welcoming mainstream primary school in Enfield, starting January 2026.

The SRP supports pupils with a range of cognitive learning needs, providing structured routines, tailored interventions, and small-group teaching in a calm, nurturing environment. This role is ideal for compassionate and proactive individuals who are passionate about supporting children's academic, social, and emotional development.

The Role:

  • Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with cognitive learning needs

  • Support differentiated lessons and personalised learning plans

  • Encourage confidence, independence, and positive social interaction

  • Work closely with class teachers, the SENCO, and the wider school team to deliver targeted interventions

  • Help maintain an inclusive, engaging, and supportive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience supporting children with SEND in a school, SRP, or similar setting

  • A patient, proactive, and enthusiastic approach to learning support

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Understanding of learning difficulties, autism, and/or speech and language needs

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
