SEMH Tutor - January Start
Location: Leicester
Start Date: 5th January
Contract: Temporary to Permanent

Tradewind Recruitment is working closely with specialist provisions in Leicester to recruit a passionate and dedicated SEMH Tutor to start on 5th January, with the opportunity to move from a temporary role to a permanent position.

This is an excellent opportunity for a tutor who is committed to supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and Autism, and who thrives in a structured, supportive, and nurturing environment.

The role:

  • Teaching pupils with SEMH and Autism

  • Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons

  • Creating a safe and positive learning environment

  • Working collaboratively with support staff and external professionals

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification)

  • Have experience working with SEMH and/or Autism (desirable)

  • Demonstrate strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills

  • Be resilient, patient, and passionate about inclusive education
